From the grove,
reshaped by hand.
Beauty lies in simple and authentic things.
Every pen begins as a piece of my own olive wood, cut from the trees I tend in Reggello. From there it passes into skilled hands, turned and shaped until it becomes something entirely new.
A small, unrepeatable object — carrying the same land, the same story, as my oil. Made in collaboration with a local craftsman, one piece at a time.
Chrome
Bright, polished fittings that let the grain of the olive wood speak for itself.
Gold
Warm gold fittings that echo the glow of the wood — a softer, more classic touch.
Selection
Each piece of wood is chosen by hand for the character of its grain, then cut into small blocks sized for turning.
Preparation
Every block is drilled with precision to hold a brass tube, sanded to help the resin bond, then left to cure before the real shaping begins.
Turning
Turned on the lathe for thirty to forty minutes, until the pen's silhouette appears. Being a living material, it sometimes breaks mid-shape — part of its nature.
